Rosemary Essential Oil


Botanical Name: Rosmarinus officinalis

Background/Origin: Rosemary is from the Labiate family, and it's name comes from the Latin 'ros maris' which means 'dew of the sea'. Rosemary is native to the Mediterranean, especially costal areas, but is now cultivated and grown throughout the world. The oil is produced by steam distillation of the leaves and the flowering tops.

How Rosemary is extracted: Steam Distilled

Description: A very protective scent, helps clear negative energy from one's aura and environment. Energizing,stimulating, great for jet lag, headache, stimulates circulation,very helpful for mental concentration and memory.

Color: Clear

Property: Antiseptic, analgesic, anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, decongestant, diuretic, cerebral and general stimulant

Uses of Rosemary essential oil: Low Blood Pressure (hypotension), colds and flu, lymphatic congestion, poor circulation, digestive disorders, fluid retention, cellulite, rheumatism, arthritis, headaches, muscular aches and pains, alopecia, dandruff, congested skin, period pain and scanty periods, stimulates the memory.

Safety & Precaution Instructions: Do not use if pregnant, or suffer from High Blood Pressure or Epilepsy. It is also advisable not to use if you are taking homeopathic remedies.
