How to Pluck your Eyebrow, Tips on Eyebrow Plucking

1. To pluck eyebrow, first apply an astringent such as witch hazel to anaesthetise the brow area.

2. Decide what shape you want for your eyebrows.

3. Brush your eyebrows into place, then pluck stray hairs underneath the eyebrow arch and anything else outside the natural brow line.

4. Use a pair of angled eyebrow tweezers to pluck the hairs below the brow; never shape your brow by plucking above it. Pluck only one hair at a time.

5. Rub some soothing cream onto the area afterwards.

Best Tips on How to Pluck eyebrow -

• Pluck your eyebrows after you get out of the shower so that the hairs are easier to pull out.
• Put some thick face or body cream all around your eyebrow before plucking them, but don't rub it in. It will help soften up the actual hair, not just the follicle. Also, your face will get TOTALLY soft!
• Hold a pencil beside your nose connecting with the inside corner of your eye. Pluck any hairs that are not over your eye. Then angle the pencil from your nose corner to the outside eye corner, and pluck any hairs that are outside the pencil.
• When you pluck your eyebrow, you have to make sure to keep looking at the overall picture in a large mirror. Many people get stuck using a magnifying mirror or a compact for their whole brow, but never bother to pay attention to how it looks.
• If eyebrow plucking is painful for you, try dabbing some Anbesol (the stuff used for cold sores) on your eyelids before you start. If you don't like that idea, then hold ice cubes on your eyelids right before plucking to numb the area.
