Hair Loss Remedies

Hair loss is a natural side effect of old age but some men can experience hair loss as early on as during the onset of puberty. The most important cause of hair loss is inadequate nutrition. The most common form of hair loss is known as androgenic alopecia, which consists of a gradual thinning of the hair, which eventually leads to hair loss. Hair loss affects both men and women, though it is generally more common in men. The most extreme form is alopecia universalis where there is total hair loss all over the body. Persons lacking in vitamin B6 lose their hair and those deficient in folic acid often become completely bald. But the hair grows normally after the liberal intake of these vitamins. Baldness isn't a life-threatening condition, and it is easy to spend a lot of money trying to restore a full head of hair. Some things simply can't be helped, such as the hair loss effects of certain medical  treatments. In cases like that, the hair loss is temporary, but its texture and thickness may be permanently changed when it grows back.

Ayurveda, an ancient medical discipline from India, involves massages with and ingestion of certain herbal formulations. Dietary modification has often employed in addressing male and female pattern baldness. There are several highly potent and therapeutic vitamins in the original Provillus formula which are specially formulated both for thinning hair, and to promote the speedy growth of healthy, shiny hair. Vitamins for thinning hair and faster hair growth and re-growth are usually a varying combination of several key amino acids, biotin, vitamins B6 and E, and zinc. Detoxifying the metabolic system usually has very good results in cases of hair loss. Rosemary and sage are two herbs that have shown benefit traditionally when used externally. To promote a clean scalp, stimulation of the hair root, and thickening hair one should boil together in water - rosemary, sage, peach leaf, nettle and burdock. Then strain the loose herbs from the liquid and use the liquid to wash the hair daily.
