Hair Loss Cure

Baldness is one of the biggest threats that both men as well as women are facing today. Most men hope they never have to look for a hair loss cure. Hair loss may be the most dreaded change they face as they age for most men. In the back of their minds they think there is no hair loss cure and this is one aging problem they can't combat.  Some begin to look around at older male relatives to estimate how much hair they have lost in comparison. They see their bald heads and their thinning hair as signs that they are joining the ranks of the "old fogeys" that they used to laugh about. There is no real hair loss cure. But there are processes and medications that can halt the hair loss or even reverse it to some extent.  For centuries people have tried and practiced hair loss cures in many different forms. Some were quite inventive, though entirely unsuccessful as hair loss cures. Other Egyptians applied urine from hedgehogs directly to the scalp in attempts to stop hair loss.

Specific problems with the hormones such as thyroid and pituitary can also be a major cause of hair loss. If hormonal imbalance is the reason for hair loss, a course of appropriate drugs may be recommend. A man can choose surgery as a hair replacement alternative, though it is not a hair loss cure. During a hair transplant the physician simply moves small amounts of hair from places where it is growing abundantly, usually the sides or back of the head, and moves them to areas that are balding. Another apparent hair loss cure is the surgical reduction of a man's scalp. By removing loose scalp skin, the physician creates the effect of raising the side hair closer to the balding top of the head. It can also include a slight lifting of skin on the forehead. While this isn't a hair loss cure, it does have the positive effect of decreasing wrinkles. Hair transplant is surgical method for hair loss treatment. It involves operations that extract parts of the scalp from the sides and back of the head where the hair grows well.

Self care remedy tips for hair loss:

  • Massage honey with egg yolk into the scalp and hair. Leave for a 1/2 hour, then rinse to prevent hair loss.
  • Grind lime seeds and black pepper in equal number in some water and apply on the scalp at regular intervals.
  • Take some yogurt everyday.
  • Mix little warmer castor and almond oil and massage over scalp at least once a week.
  • Scrub the bald portion with onions till it becomes red. Then applying honey, scrub the scalp once a day.

General tips to take care of hair from loss:

  • Eating a balanced, healthy diet is important for a lot of reasons, and it really benefits your hair.
  • Style your hair when it's dry or damp. Styling your hair while it's wet can cause it to stretch and break. And try to avoid teasing your hair, which can also cause damage.
  • Don't rub your hair too vigorously with a towel.
  • Be careful when using chemicals - such as straightness or color - on your hair.
