Botanical Name of Cypress Essential Oil : Cupressus sempervirens

Background/Origin of Cypress Essential Oil : Cypress is an evergreen tree found commonly in Southern Europe and is a member of the Cupressaceae family. Cypress trees are frequently found in Mediterranean region. Cypress has been used in purification rituals and as an incense by many religions and cultures.
