Condylomata Accuminata are also known as Genital Warts. Genital wart infections have become so widespread that genital wart infections are one of the most common transmitted diseases on the planet. Condylomata Accuminata are fleshy growths which appear in the genital area. They are caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and are usually spread by contact in adults and by other reasons in children.
What causes Condylomata Accuminata ?
There are about 80 types of human papillomavirus. Genital warts are caused by HPV.

Similar to other STDs, it is not uncommon for genital wart to be devoid of visible signs and symptoms. Condylomata Accuminata have these following symptom associated with it -

Condylomata Accuminata Treatment:
No treatment for Condylomata Accuminata is completely effective because there are no drugs that will kill the virus directly.
The treatment is easier when the warts are small and few in number.
Different treatments for Condylomata Accuminata
- Topical treatments to eradicate the lesions include trichloroacetic acid, podophyllum, and liquid nitrogen.
- Surgical treatments include cryosurgery, electrocauterization, laser therapy, or surgical excision.
