Oily Skin Care
Skin can be divided into various types conforming to its texture. It is important to know the various types of skin. Oily skin is shiny, chunky and dull colored. Oily skin is caused by glands which produce too much sebum, resulting in skin that has a greasy slippery texture, looks shiny and is typically has large, clogged pores.
Oily skin types are likely to develop acne, a condition ensueing from sebum trapped inside the skin and causing pus-filled lesions known as comedones. Despite these detriments oily skin generally remains younger looking and more supple over time than other skin types. Oily skin advantages from periodic herbal steam treatments and clay masks. Causes of oily skin is hereditary, diet , hormones levels, pregnancy, cosmetics you use and humidity and hot weather.
Large pores are the important characterstics of oily skin. The difficulty with oily skin is that it often gets dehydrated. The extra oil on the surface of the skin attracts dirt and dust from the environment. Oily skin is also likely to black heads, white heads, spots, pimples and such skin will never be clear.
Acne is known to be a serious problem which is enquired by most of them having oily skin. Acne could be pronounced as a chronic inflammatory disorder that occurs in the adolescent as well as the adult. The great benefit of oily skin is that it ruptures at a slower rate than other skin types.
Oily skin requires special cleansing with plenty of hot water and soap to prevent the pores from being blocked. Avoid severe products which strip your skin of oil and encourage flakiness.
Vitamin A capsules help regulate oil production to a certain extent. It is necessary for those with this skin type to have an oil-free diet with lots of vegetables and water and to move their bowels routinely. Massage well into your face and let it absorb well, then take a tissue paper to remove the excessive moisturizer thus preventing shine.
Try using a clay or mud mask. If you have sensitive skin, use white or rose-colored clays. Use a light antiseptic night cream from time to time if you need, and apply a clarifying mask once or twice a week. Diet is also most impotant roles for Oily Skin. when your skin very oily take lots of leafy green vegetables and fresh fruits.
Drink plenty of amount water to keep the skin hydrated and flush out toxins. Do not drink soft drinks or alcoholic beverages. Avoiding fried and junk foods such as whole milk, butter, cream, cheese, ice cream, chocolate, rich salad dressing, cocoa, nuts, sweets and fatty meats. Negelct sugar, chocolate, and junk food. Different herbs is also helpful for oily skin. Aloe vera has excellent healing qualitites.
Apply aloe vera gel topically, as wished. Lavender is very good for oily skin. Mist your skin with lavender water several times daily. Witch hazel applied to the skin is excellent for fascinating oil. Burdock root, chamomile, horsetail, oat straw, and thyme nourish the skin. Daily brushing and massage of the whole body provokes circulation and rejuvenates the skin.
