Sunburn Home Remedy for treat severe sunburn, sunburn remedy, sunburn relief

The sun is so necessary to life and yet, it is the skin's greatest enemy. Exposure to sun's rays is the most important factor in the ageing of the skin. Every time we expose to the sun, some degenerative damage takes place.

The UVA and UVB rays of sun are damaging to the skin. The UVA rays have a longer wavelength and do not burn the skin. They, however, penetrate the skin and affect the dermis by causing damage to collagen and elastin, the supportive tissues of the skin. Sun exposure, in fact, contributes to the development of hyper pigmented skin problems. It is also responsible for allergies and dehydrated skin. Wrinkles, loss of firmness, and an uneven color tone are all part of what we call sun damage.

Sunburn Home remedy - protection is always better than cure. Protect your skin against sunburn using these tips:

1. Avoidance of the sun, specially at midday and in the afternoon, when ultraviolet radiation is at its height, can help to reduce the harmful effects.

2. It is also essential to know that ultraviolet radiation is greater near water bodies, like the seaside and where there is snow.

3. Exposure to sun also causes moisture depletion and dries out the skin. Therefore, it is essential to step-up moisturize, when you have been out of doors for a long time.

4. The use of rehydrant cleansers, which contains aloe vera, can also help to control moisture loss. Aleovera, like sandalwood, also helps to soothe and heal the skin, in cass of excessive dehydration, with sensitivity and sunburn.

5. When you are swimming in the sea, or in an open-air pool, remember to apply sunscreen before and after your swim.

6. Protect yourself with a parasol whenever you are out in the sun. Remember, you are exposed to ultraviolet radiation even on a cloudy day.

Treatment for severe sunburn or sunburn relief:

Avoidance of sun-exposure and protection of the skin with sunscreens and sun block agents are a vital part of the treatment. Protective care not only entails protection from the ultraviolet rays of the sun, but also from loss of moisture. Sunscreens and sun block products, containing sandalwood and sesame form effective sunburn remedy.

Note: It is essential to exercise caution, while choosing products to lighten the dark areas. Some products that are used to lighten the skin color can have adverse reactions.
