Benign Cystic Epithelioma - Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Typically, lesions consist of asymptomatic, discrete pin-head to pea-sized, pearly, pale-pinkish, solid, round or oval papulo-nodules embedded in the skin; they are, only slightly raised above the surface. Multiple Benign Cystic Epithelioma is a rare hereditary disorder . Onset is at puberty. Lesions are mostly confined to the central part of the face and temples, distributed usually bilaterally symmetrically. They develop for a few years and then become stationary. Only rarely do they ulcerate or become malignant.
